Used for checking the fuses of pole fuse switches, without climbing the pole and opening the fuseswitch. By using operating rod, the antenna of the voltage detector is pushed into the voltage measuringopening of the fuse switch. If the fuse holder is live, the small LED is lit. A live conductor can also bedetected by touching the insulation of a phase conductor with the voltage indicator.
