An end customer of Kymenlaakson Sähköverkko Oy (a Finnish utility company) gave claim about low short circuit current in the electricity supply. A typical imbalance problem is caused by single-phase load that leads to large voltage variations in networks, especially in long lines. Customer´s problem could have been solved by building a new distribution line but it would have been slow and expensive for the company.
