Its specified minimum breaking load of 130 kN is even higher than porcelain or composite stay wire insulator, in addition the polymeric insulator is highly resistant and withstands electrical stress well. Polymeric stay wire insulator is also weatherproof and UV resistant.
Strong But Lightweight Structure
In addition to the polymeric stay wire insulator's innovative design and robust structure, we have prioritized the connection between the stay wire and the stay wire insulator is very strong and durable. Thanks to the design, the loops of the stay wire can be installed inside each other, which contributes to the strength of the joint. The insulator is shockproof and exceptionally lightweight, only 0,8 kg. The insulator is also easy to handle and install. The polymeric stay wire insulator is suitable for 25 - 70 mm² stay wire. It is possible to order the insulator pre-attached to the stay wire kit, making it very easy and safe to install. The kit includes all accessories for the stay wire installation, and thanks to pre-cut stay wire, there is no need to handle heavy stay wires from the reel on the field. The length of the stay wire means the distance between the pole and the stay wire fitting end including some spares for the installation. Kits with lock have some spare to allow the top end of the wire to be tied twice around the pole.
The polymeric stay wire insulator is designed and manufactured in Finland. The delivery capability of the product is excellent. The new polymeric stay wire insulator SDI69 replaces the porcelain stay wire insulator SDI4.5 and composite stay wire insulator SDI70.24.
